Welcome to the San Diego, CA page for North Star Pet Assistance. Founder and Former High Desert Director Gina Downey moved to San Diego in July 2005. Gina is currently working as a Real Estate Appraiser. At this time, due to her hectic schedule, there will not be any scheduled rescue or fostering in San Diego. However, in the mean time referrals to other local groups will be provided here as well as spay/neuter information for the San Diego area.

**Four times a year the San Diego Union Tribune features photos of animals who need homes. By sponsoring a pet you are ensuring he/she gets a second chance. Sponsor forms must be mailed to "Save a Life- Adopt a Pet" PO Box 120191, San Diego, CA 92112, attn Susan Dolan Chorn. Ads will be 1 column by 1" with photo and sponsored by __(up to 20 characters)__ Price is $32.50 and when the section will appear will depend on which deadline you make
