Saorsa -it's Irish for Liberty and Freedom- We got super lucky here! A lady that wanted Fish Hook Annie had left her number so we called since Annie had been adopted. She immediately went to the shelter to rescue this
dog and her one puppy. She fostered them both and also adopted them. They are so loved. Saorsa is a bit shy of people and had a lot of issues and they
have stuck by her all the time! Here is Selkie, her pup, at Halloween! What a pretty girl!
Sierra- Mom of Panda, Jack, George, Tess, Banjo and Grace. Sierra has a wonderful home!
Sophia- another off to Border Collie Rescue. She is now in a happy home with a family in the San Diego area.
Special- Ginger's kitten
Star- Unfortunately as Star matured she became very aggressive. Possibly from being at the shelter at only 4 weeks of age for 2 weeks and being taken from her mom and litter to early.

These pups were featured in the Daily Press as part of an article about the new coalition. We were able to get them out of the shelter and to PAL.
Lucy, a Border Collie that we helped get to BC Rescue, is now a National Disaster Search Dog.
Her new name is Tinker and this is her handler Oscar Gonzalez.
Ty was adopted by a Commander in the Navy and his family. This is one military family that made sure that their dog went with the family even with deployment.

Here is Missy at the shelter. She was brought in to the shelter by animal control w/ orders to be euthanized?? We never could figure out why- she is a love!
Kathy from the shelter fostered Missy and cleaned her up a little bit. Now she is with some very nice people!
She has been groomed,
schooled and totally spoiled!
She now weighs 14lbs. She was 5 lbs when picked up
according to shelter staff.
She goes everywhere and loves the car and has lots of fun with other dogs and cats.

This is Fluffy -he was stray and a nice lady found him and we helped her place him in a new home after his owners could not be found!
